The Florida Hemp Association was created in 2018 to provide current, accurate and timely information on the state and federal regulatory framework, industry landscape, and hemp cultivation, sales and processing business opportunities in Florida. As the first statewide hemp organization, the FHA has worked closely with the Florida Legislature and Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services in the creation and implementation of the state’s hemp law and regulations.  The organization is dedicated to providing detailed information to interested growers, businesses and individuals on the requirements for hemp licenses, program compliance, market dynamics and new business opportunities for hemp cultivation, processing, and development of CBD, fiber, and other hemp derived products.  The FHA provides members with resources, education and strategies on pursuing successful commercial hemp production businesses.

The Florida Hemp Association was named a “2019 Session Winner” by Florida Politics for their leadership in advocating for passage of the State Hemp Plan legislation.
